The installation is always displayed with three parts. One of them, a photograph of the object in the installation, is made anew every time the artwork is installed. This means that 2 parts are more or less fixed items - the object and the definition - and that the third one is actually not made yet. Unless the work is going to be displayed on a site where it was installed once before. Then the site related photograph can be used. The old photographs are thus kept in storage as ’inactive parts’. They are documents of the history of the artwork at the same time.
