08. Artist's authorisation (16 April 2007)
From earlier interviews and conversations with the artist we learned that he is very keen on remaking The wider the flatter. He was very sad about the fact that it was not shown anymore because of its poor condition ( artist's interview). Ger van Elk has been very cooperative during the project and came to the museum twice to finally approve of the colour of the photograph that has to match the colour of the wall exactly to generate the desired effect. He also liked to pose for the camera.
