Exhibition catalogue from Ger van Elk's first solo exhibition for which occasion 'The wider the flatter' was first made. The catalogue contains an important interview with the artist by Ron Kaal, a text by R.H. Fuchs an introduction by Jean Leering. 'The wider the flatter' is depicted in the middle of the catalogue on page 25 in black and white. It is barely noticable that the work had a different appearance at that time because the reproduction is fairly poor and the walls were fairly plain.
