For this solo exhibition ‘The wider the flatter’ is shown outside its site-related context. To clarify the meaning of the work an explanatory photograph of the installation in the Kröller-Müller Museum was hung beside the piece upon request of the artist himself. The black and white photograph made by the Stedelijk Museum also shows ‘The specific gravity of the imagination II’ (1972) on the right.
